Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins who is also known as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States and Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and is a SportsCenter anchor. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta was bilingual from the time she turned nine. The ability that allowed her to get her first role as an Univision producer assistant Miami. She collaborated with producers for national shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Then she was promoted to reporter for CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg affiliate in the following year. In 2009, she relocated to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. Covering stories on immigration and drug-trafficking on both sides of the Texas-Mexico border, she was a reporter for the 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor, reporter and later anchor for news at 9 p.m. news in English as well as another reporter for the at 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. She would also fill in at times as a news and sports anchor. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate, where she was able to take on additional duties. She also did segments on the Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. Aside from this she was also the host and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. She also served as the anchor for sports on Despierta America Deportes morning show. The same job was held in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on UniMas Network. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. Then, they moved to Mexico City and she was born there on November 22 in 1985. There is an older sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and moved to Miami. Within a brief time her father separated from her mother. She then remarried in 1995 a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in the year 2006. When on vacation, Antonietta stayed at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins brother had recently been offered the job of his dreams. Antonietta was a senior in high school who had a vision of how she thought her future would be, visited Mount Union University to determine whether the university was suitable for her. The campus was a dream for her. It also gave her the program she was interested in. After high school, she graduated and enrolled into media school at the University. Mark Bergmann - her professor and managing director at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. It was he who inspired her faith and confidence, as well as whose enthusiasm for Journalism deeply touched her. As a result, she was determined to exceed his expectations and never let him down.
